Local car dealerships have reported an extremely busy June period for used car sales but with auction prices hitting sky high levels and logistical issues for getting cars back to the dealerships it has meant that forecourt are getting more empty as the weeks go byAuctions had been online only recently and with fewer staff to help process purchases, getting the cars to the dealers have been an issue with many purchases still awaiting arrival. Despite the lockdown, many used car prices have been increasing in book value meaning stock has held its value during recent times. As more areas are continuously opening back up again, stock levels are expected to increase again over the coming months.
