Its been an amazing 3 years, starting with a dozen dealers just in Carmarhtenshire, expanding into Ceredigion and then further expanin into Pembrokeshire. We saw more and more dealers join on board and now have over 70 local dealerships advertising their stock on the website - allowing users to search through all their stock on one website.

We are seeing a large increase in the amount of vehicles sold locally by dealers during January compared to the lockdown back in April/May and online activity on the website has increased as more people start to look for their next car. 

Click and Collect and Home Delivery is now being offered by several local dealers. This means the full purchase of the vehicle is done online to ensure safe sale during this difficult period. This does offer people who urgently need a new vehicle a way of getting one although the majority of people would rather take a test drive and see the vehicle before buying. Please check with the dealership to see if this is available if you see a vehicle you want and need it urgently.

Stock levels have contined to rise slowly over the last few months from local dealerships. The effect of the main lockdown back in March saw stock levels drop everywhere as soon as car dealerships were able to open back up, as dealers were selling vehicles quicker than they could replace them. Added to the logistical issues with new cars, compounded with auction sites unable to deliver vehicles and then also mixed with huge customer demand meant stock levels dropped down by about 30% to 40% lower than normal across the 3 counties. Stock levels are still down from pre-covid levels as used car prices continue to hold their values but with more and more local dealers joining LocalCar4Sale.co.uk every month, the selection gets bigger and bigger!

With more and more dealers joining the website every month, our network continues to expand and offer the user even better value by being able to search through more dealers stock than ever before.
