Another dealer added to the network today – Nantycaws Filling Station – adding more vehicles to our vans section, and a few other vehicles, allowing us to offer even more choice locally than previously before and moving us further ahead as the No.1 Motors Search Engine for Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion!

Our network still grows, with more dealers joining on board, with Bassetts Citroen Carmarthen and Ceir Phil Williams Cars recently coming on board. We are continuing to show that we are the number one place for local people to come to find their next vehicle, with more choice from local dealers than any other search engine. Thanks once again to all the dealers who have helped support us to make this possible

As our network continues to expand, our strength in the local market increases. We did an up to date comparison against the leading motors search engines, to cover Carmarthenshire (we will do one soon for Ceredigion but as we only launched last month, we are still updating figures) and you can see the results on the table attached. We had nearly TWICE what the next leading motors search engine had for the area. Not bad for a website that started just 4 months ago!  Thanks once again to all the dealers who have helped support us to make this possible

 As more and more dealers sign up with our website, realising the potential it has for reaching the local audience, it makes for an even better user experience, as it gives our users more variety to find locally. With now over 1600 vehicles and expanding all the time and an easy to use website, we continue to reach bigger audiences as more people find out about the new easy way to find their next car … locally! Our expansion across Carmarthenshire and now into Ceredigion continues, meaning we now have over 1300 vehicles on the website from local dealers. We are firmly moving into pole position ahead of the other national motors search engines in regards with the amount of stock we hold from local dealers and our advert continues across the airwaves on Radio Carmarthenshire and Radio Ceredigion so keep a listen out for it.

We are expanding our coverage area from just inside Carmarthenshire to also cover Ceredigion! We already have several more dealers for Carmarthenshire to add onto the system (which should be done by end of the month) but also have another half dozen for Ceredigion so we expect our stock levels to increase drastically over the next few weeks to give our users even greater choice from local dealerships close to you. We plan to have our Ceredigion area all live from 1st May (although some may start to appear before that due to sheer volumes of stock to load!). Our first Facebook competition that has run over the last week is coming to a close in a few hours, we have had a tremendous response, with the competition getting over 1000 shares and over 2k comments on the post, its been a great way to get awareness of the website out there. Good luck to all our entries, not long now!

As the awareness of our brand increases and our website traffic increases, so has our stock levels on the website, now with double the amount we had when we started just in February. Our advertising campaign on the fuel pumps in Tesco's in Carmarthen and Llanelli has just started and hasn't gone unnoticed either! Happy searching everyone!

As we come to the end of the first month of being live, we end on a high as we now have more cars from local dealers in Carmarthenshire than any of the main motors search engines. See our graph to see how we compare against the other search engines, you now know its the right website to find your next car ... locally!

With the website being live just over two weeks we have already had hundreds of local users logging onto the website searching for their next car. Thousands of pages have already been viewed on the website and our Facebook page is also seeing our online audience there growing as well! (Even you haven't done so already, find us on Facebook @localcars4sale.co.uk and give us a like and a follow!).

After lots of hard work and testing before the website went live, we concentrated quite a lot on user experience, which is why you don't see advertising everywhere over the website, why the numbers come up if a page is slow to load (so you know its still doing something, especially on mobile if signal poor!), why the actual search bar is right at the top of the home page, etc and feedback so far is that people like the website and find it easy to navigate so we are glad the hard work has paid off and we are seeing a good volume of returning visitors to the website.

We are live! The website is now open for everyone to view after months of hard work. Big thank you to all the dealers who took the chance to support a new website and came on board to support the launch, may it bring you a great return on investment.
